We love the use of thrift save reveals to create stunning art for our garden. It’s so therapeutic seeing some thing that become discarded given a new rent on existence. Like this mossy lawn statue we made some weeks again.

Would you agree with me if I informed you she became once a grimy, dirty, plastic, mannequin.

We gave her a fake concrete makeover and brought a shapely mossy mosaic corset and a succulent choker.

If you would like to make something comparable here’s what you need except that plastic model
Start by means of giving her a great scrub with a few sandpaper to remove all the dirt and roughen her up a bit.

Spray the corset location with some green spray paint. It facilitates disguise any gaps when the moss is implemented

Once the paint dries glue some mosaic tiles down to create an "define" for the corset. If you haven’t completed a mosaic earlier than right here’s an splendid manual that will help you get began. Apply plenty of E6000 glue at the corset location and upload the moss.

Apply the texture paste to the neck, bust and legs using a spatula or Popsicle sticks.

Wait for the paste to dry and use mild and darkish gray craft paints to "dry brush" the texture paste to resemble concrete. Drizzle a little brown in positive areas to age the faux concrete.

Add a succulicious choker made from fake succulents and a chunk of lawn twine and you’re performed.

I love how she turned out.

But I would love to know what you suspect. Is it something you’ll make on your lawn?
P.S. You can get the precise little by little tutorial to create that fake concrete effect if you click right here.
