I love vintage adorns however let’s be real, they’re tough to locate and high priced when you accomplish that why not make your personal?!!
I can’t prevent gazing them!!
I came about to have a field of antique spindles lying around. But you can use old chairs legs or chair spindles. Don’t be afraid to seize the ones chairs by tbe street!!
I picked those embellishes up at Wal-Mart ultimate yr on clearance for $5.00 but you may locate reasonably-priced ornamnts even now. Try the dollar tree or any of the greenback stores.
Paint your spindles. I used a matte chalk paint.
Then paint your embellishes. I rigged up this little drying station so I should paint all the sides at once.
I then cut my spindles down in specific sizes.
I used a drill bit to make holes for the embellishes to in shape into.
I used hot glue to place the 2 portions together.
I drilled a miles smaller hole at the pinnacle for the hook.
0 I wrapped wire around the distance and distressed the wooden a chunk.
1 I then dabbed some metallic paint at the adorns to provide them some texture.
2 I stuck a small piece of 20 gauge wire inside the hollow on pinnacle. Hot glued it in and looped it round.
3 I am loving these!!
4 I’d love a whole tree of these!!
Hope you loved this diy!!
