Have you heard of the Danish phrase Hygge (hue-guh)? It’s the temper created through coziness and secure dwelling. People are seeking to carry a touch of that Danish idea into their homes right here lately; and as iciness starts offevolved getting into New Hampshire I crave that feeling of coziness in my home.
So once I started out redecorating for the holidays this year I desired to create that sense of hygge. I assume this lovable challenge is an excellent fit!

The components you’ll want for this venture are 3 foam cones in various sizes, three skeins of various textured yarns, and a glue gun. There are so many colors and textures are yarns comfortably to be had at craft shops and online now, so have fun selecting them out. You may want to pick yarn colors that compliment your house decor or the colors you use to beautify for the vacations.
I chose a thick fluffy white yarn, a crazy textured variegated yarn, and a chenille gray/blue.

I commenced with the biggest tree first and used the thick yarn.

For this tree I began at the bottom of the cone and wrapped the yarn upward; I desired to see if there was a difference in beginning from the bottom as opposed to the pinnacle of the cone earlier than I shared my mission with you.
I guided the yarn round and make droplets of the glue as I went along. This thick yarn required more glue to hold it in vicinity than the thinner yarns I used.

On to the center tree! I began from the top on this one and clearly advocate doing it this way it seems to be the fine, quickest approach for this craft.

Just ensure not to go away any spaces among your rows of yarn. You do not want the green foam peaking thru.
It took much less than 10 mins to make this one. I love the comfy texture of this one!
The small tree took five minutes to complete. I best used a drop of glue at the the front and then the back as I wrapped the thin yarn around the tree.
** Be light exceeded so the glue doesn’t leak thru and make the yarn shiny.**

I love how they came out! I made a little vignette with mine the usage of an vintage silver tray then added a few pine cones and some veggies I reduce from my back backyard and finished it with a string of fairy lighting.
These would also make a completely unique hostess gift to bring to holiday events this season.
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
