DIY Entryway Locker With Storage

Step 1- Layout, Cut Backboard and Side Pieces for the LockerSince this locker has three predominant pieces, (one backboard and sideboards) we want to reduce those big items first. Measure and draw, on ¾” plywood, the shape of the aspect portions consistent with measurement from the reduce list. Then the usage of a Skill Saw cut these facet pieces first. Then, take the second one ¾” plywood piece and draw a size of the backboard, then cut it out. Step four – Attach Side Pieces to the Base of the Locker Now take the aspect pieces you chop earlier and drill 3 pocket holes. Making certain they’re on the interior backside of the locker. Step 13 – Cut the Remaining Pieces Before Staining Measure and cut the top piece of the locker which to 23″x24” in period. Then cut a shelf divider that is 10″x21 half of″ and an 11 three/8″x9 half of″ door that attaches to the shelf divider. Under the shelf, there’s a 22 1/2″ by way of 2″ huge lip and a 1 1/4″ timber dowel rod. Drill pocket holes at the shelf divider and a lip under the shelf as shown in the image. Now stain or paint the complete locker and these pieces one after the other. Having those portions no longer assembled makes it simpler to stain. 
Step 14 – Attach the Door to the Shelf Divider Once the entirety is stained and the stain is dry, attach the shelf door to the shelf divider. Use a couple of 1″ Metal Foldable Hinges. Make certain the door is targeted at the divider board. 
Step 15 – Install Door and Shelf Divider on Top of the Shelf Find and mark the middle of the shelf. Place the shelf divider on pinnacle of the shelf and ensuring the door closes. Then connect the shelf divider with and 1 1/four″ Pocket hole screws. 
Step sixteen – Nail the Top Lid Board to the Locker Place the top lid board over the locker and nail it with a Nail Gun the use of 1 1/4″ Brad Nails. 
Step 17 – Insert the Coat Hanger Dowel Rod Install the Closet Dowel Sockets at the sideboards of the locker approximately 3” from the shelf board. Then insert the dowel into the sockets. And ultimately, set up the two″ lip board that’s underneath the shelf. You’re accomplished with DIY Entryway Locker with Storage!
