I love shopping for vintage vintage window frames and making them over. It without a doubt offers a wall a fabulous view. This time I picked up a Papier-mâché deer head. It was my personal private preference as to how I wanted to paint it. I desired to keep it greater easier so I best used unique colours which have been white and an off white.
I commenced out with a cleaned vintage window body. I stored the white paint that become formerly on it in tact.
Here is my deer papier-mâché piece I discovered at a thrift save. It turned into brown to start off with. I did now not get a earlier than photograph, sorry!
I used Rustoleum spray paint in white first and blanketed the complete head that would be seen. I let it dry for about 15 minutes. Then I gently sprayed Rustoleum spray paint in Chiffon cream on top of the white however scattered to offer it different size.
Note: Do all of the spraying outside. I use a field to save you over spray at the ground.
I picked up those hooks at my neighborhood Dollar General. They are an off brand to command brand. I actually like them plenty greater to be perfectly sincere. I focused this exactly wherein I wanted to cling my deer. Use your Discretion when you do yours.
Here you see how he hooks up perfectly inside the middle.
This is the underside so you can see what the deer head colour seemed like before I sprayed it. You have the choice of painting him any way you preference. You may even add lashes if you want to add a few extra measurement.
I wanted to add a easy floral piece to the center to take away from the hook showing.
I twisted the wire so it’d nicely hang and now not fall off once it turned into on the wall. It labored beautifully protecting up the hook.
Note you may upload extra flora and colorings to make her surely stand out. I turned into going for subtle.
Here is my finished product on my wall. I used wire and hooks to make certain it might move on strong right into a stud. These vintage frames are very heavy so maintain that during thoughts.
